Old Tivo

I have a Tivo that I do not use anymore.

Is there a use for it as a server for music, pictures or movie's?

Should I just shelve it or raid it for parts?

    Which model? if it is a DTV HD Tivo then you could us it as a digital over OTA tuner.

    No it is a SD Series 2. I have not used it for over a year because the built in DVR's and On Demand for the kids.

    How well do you know linux? You can do a good bit with it, but it's not the most friendly to work with.
