Rotating Drivers - SDA

As I waited for my SDA 1-C crossovers to come back from their overhaul (thanks x10, Ben!) I performed the Mortite gasket upgrade. While doing so I noted when I had the passive bass driver out it sagged a little in the direction of the bottom of the basket, caused no doubt by twenty+ years of gravity. I remembered from my Klipsch horn days that rotating old drivers can be theraputic sometimes, evening out the gradual fatigue they go through.

So I rotated the bass passive 180 degrees, and each mid-driver at least 45 degrees. I carefully checked each to ensure there was no rubbing after remounting them. I didn't mess with my new replacement tweeters...

I performed a bunch of upgrades all at once so I can't comment on how much this in particular altered performance, but subjectively the bass is even better (deep, not boomy) after this mod...
