Good HTML websites

I'm looking for input or examples of good websites using HTML. I do alot of basic work in html, but typically when I want to create something a little more fancy I just hop over to Flash and do the work there.

I know what a well built and organized site looks like, that's not really what I'm looking for input on. I'm looking more for websites that have a really good design and feel to them, but where that is not accomplished using Flash.

I've not come across many, so hoping you guys may have some examples.

Also, this is going to feed me building a site for a musician, not a big company or business.

I would suggest googling around at the types of websites that have been made for musicians which dont use flash and find these using google.

Then study the page as well as the page html you have found. After this do some research on what makes html code search engine friendly and code a similar page using code which will give a result.

As a professional web developer, I absolutely hate Flash used outside of direct applications in media (read: Youtube). Mainly the reasons for this stem from the fact that Flash kills page loading, requires extra modules to load, which in turn makes for typically a poorer user experience. The worst part about it is that it's typically uneeded.

The question I have for you is this: what are you hoping to accomplish outside of flash? You mention the site is for a musician. Are you looking for niftier ways to doing UI? or are you looking for a drop in replacement audio/video? If the prior, I have a bunch of great sites for you to check out.
Lovin that music year after year.

Yeah, mostly just looking for different designs, or different UIs. I'm just looking for some examples of what can be done outside of Flash.

I'm aware of Google and it's uses, thanks for the tip. I know we have several guys on here that do web work, so was just looking for some reference samples.
