My LSI 9's have some scratches on top and bottom. If it is paint can i use some kind of scratch remover, or is the top and bottom plastic. If plastic, can the scratches still be taken off.

You might try some Maquires "Scratch-X" on a scratch on the bottom as a test...I don't know if it's a laminate or some type of paint--I would quess it's a laminate.Source: Bluesound Node 2i - Preamp/DAC: Benchmark DAC2 DX - Amp: Parasound Halo A21 - Speakers: MartinLogan Motion 60XTi - Shop Rig: Yamaha A-S501 Integrated - Shop Spkrs: Elac Debut 2.0 B5.2

Depends on when they were made, the newer models are a laquer/paint type finish.

I would suggest contacting Polk CS during normal hours.~ In search of accurate reproduction of music. Real sound is my reference and while perfection may not be attainable? If I chase it, I might just catch excellence. ~
