Some have said the older 5010 has more "picture tweaking" than the newer version 5020, but the black levels of the 5020 are supposed to be a little better. -
HDTV content honestly looks pretty good on all HDTV's. Espessially to viewers who are not that critical.
The thing I noticed about my Kuro is that it make SD content look way better than any of my Sony, Samsung, Panasonic, Sharp or Hitachi sets did.
Not that these big screens are made for SD, but the fact is there is still alot of SD content out there and some good shows are not always in HD.
The Video Processing in the Kuro's is top notch.;) -
