Worst Superbowl Commercials Ever

Geez -- those had to be the worst Superbowl commercials in the history of Superbowl commercials. Not a single commercial was any good. I think they were holding a contest to see who could make the worst commercial. In this economy you would think the advertising folks would be more creative. They sucked!!!!

I can't believe cash4gold got a spot. What crap. And what happened to funny bud commercials? These ones sucked.

I did not catch the Miller commercial. The ones that I did see were not very good compared to previous years.

I liked some of them quite a bit. The Career Builder one was easily my favorite. High Life was good too.

The Bridgestone/Potato Head one was pretty funny, but overall, a lame year. Goes with the economy. Companies aren't spending as much on advertising.

I enjoyed quite a few, namely the CareerBuilder and Bridgestone commercials. There were a few others I chuckled at, but apparently they weren't funny enough for me to remember at the moment.

I love the two new ETrade Commercials. I think that whole series of commercials has been great.

I got a pretty good chuckle out of a couple others too. But I have to say...Bud's commercials this year were pathetic! Who gives a crap about the dumb horses! Not that I really care too much. Actually it's about time their commercials were on par with their product.

They actually had a record breaking year with $206mil total for 69 commercials. They ranged from 2.4 to 3million per 30 seconds. That's an average of 100,000 a second. Take that "recession."

I liked the bridestone potato head one and the e-trade was great as well. For the rest of them they were not up to par from other years.

I would have thought it was just normal programming showing those commercials. Nothing "Super Bowl" about them. COmpletely lame. Sure a few were all right for normal commercials (teh Potato Head one in particular) but nothing to the level of Super Bowls past.

What a world we live in, where not only do we seek out advertisements to watch in our spare time, but said advertisements are "sponsored by H&R Block."

By most reports, the Super Bowl ads this year were about $100,000 per second. No, really.

That is the money given to the network for air time, not the amount of money spent in producing the commercials. I'm sure the marketing budgets are down across the board.

From what I've heard, the Audi/Jason Statham commercial was the most expensive to produce.

yeah, godaddy is definitely an epic fail IMO. I'm very disappointed Danica has to be part of that. She's too crazy hot for that kind of marketing.

If she didn't drive a race car and have her face on TV, no one would give her a second glance on the street.

Sorry but Danica looks like the last girl on the planet I'd get with. I couldn't imagine a single moment of unbridled laughter with that specimen. I bet she could beat me consistently at paper, rock, scissors, but that would get pretty old fairly quick.

Cute? That would be the last word that comes to mind.

I agree with others that she is not smoking hot or anything close, but to say she would be the last girl on the planet you'd think about?? Either you have some very odd taste in women, or you are very very picky.

I'd say she certainly has above average looks.
