Does anyone know the specific difference between these two? Besides the tweeters and donut drivers is there any? I have heard both and own the regular 2.3 with donut drivers and didnt notice much difference but didnt have them side by side. Thanks

You would probably have to hear them sideXside to hear the difference. The physical layout of the drivers is different. On 2.3's, the stereo array has 2 drivers, on TL's the stereo array has 4. ergo, they reversed them.

I think the TL's have a little different x-over network to accommodate the SL-3000 tweets, and maybe some other changes also.

No donut drivers on the TLs and better X-over, tweets and sound.

Well at the time I bought mine there was a pair also on CL of the TL's but they were in need of much repair three tweets were blown and two 6 1/2" torn grills and cat piss all over them, then when he said he used to play his guitar through them it was all over. But there was a guy in Denver with a mint pair of TL's and wanted $1550 for them, they sounded great but didnt want to spend that much for them. I am extremley happy with my regular 2.3 just didnt really know the exact difference, thanks for all your replies
