speakers for 32" lcd tv
After doing some research on TV's I eventually ended up picking up a new 32" sony xbr6, and the one thing I hear a lot about this TV (and most other small lcd sets) is that the audio is subpar. Some people have made comments that I should hook it up to some computer speakers and I would get better sound that way. Obviously that would depend on the speakers, but I've never done that before so there may be other factors I'm not aware of too.
Here is a pair of speakers i'm looking at now:

My questions are- 1) Do those who have heard this/a similar TV agree that speakers such as these would give me better sound? 2) The TV has both RCA audio output jacks and a headphone jack. The speakers appear to work with both (and even come with an adapter for rca connection. Will one of these connections be better than the other, or would it be the same?
In looking this stuff up I read some things about needing 'powered' speakers (which I think those are not?) or else a signal booster because the audio out on TVs is not strong? I don't know much about that so any information you guys could give me would be helpful. I'm basically looking for a simple solution to improve the sound without getting into a full receiver setup or anything like that. I really don't have much room in the bedroom for a full setup.
Thanks

Receiver-speakers-nuff said.
Computer speakers or anything like that probably wouldn't get the best results. Have you thought about a soundbar or something of that nature?

Not sure if you noticed, but I specifically said I wasn't looking for a reciver/speaker combo... I don't have the room (nor do I want to spend the money) on a solution like that. (especially a receiver + soundbar whch would be about 1000 bucks more than the link I put...haha)
I'm not trying to get really impressive sound or anything out of this solution- just something better than the 'tinny' speakers that they put in these smaller LCD's in a small package and price.
The size of speakers in my link area bout as big as I want to go. If anyone who has heard a tv like this thinks I won't be able to get better sound out of something like that, then I'll just stick with the stock tv speakers. -

ooook, maybe this wasn't the forum to ask this question...lol -

x2.
Those things are easily wall mountable. They're incredibly light at only 185 pounds. You wouldn't even need to tie them into a stud or anything. Dry wall will support them just fine.
Those speakers don't look half bad. I'd wait until you get the TV though and see how you like the sound quality before you go and spend more money on it. Who knows...you may end up being satisfied with the sound quality. The nirvana inducer-
