rt3000p problem
Hi guys,
I'm new on this forum. I've owned the rt3000p speakers for a few years now. A friend who stayed in my house this summer turned on the receiver and I heard a loud hissing noise. After that, when I went to turn them on again, the sound quality was bad and the tweeter wasn't working. Do I need to replace the tweeter or is there a fuse that can be replaced? How much does it cost to replace the tweeter? Thanks so much.

Check the crossover first. They have resistors that are prone to faliure.
I have smoked ( litterally ) 2 LSI crossovers.
They will be obiously burn or smell burnt with black soot around them.
No expert here but I have replaced them twice and it really sounds like the crossovers.
