A "shimmy"

This blonde ran over a mattress and decided to keep going.
The ensuing jumble finally whipped around enough to put a tear in
the gas tank.
The subsequent lack of fuel is what finally brought this vehicle
to its knees.

It had still managed to drive 30 more miles decently with a
60lb tangle wrapped around the driveshaft.
This blonde complained that the vehicle had a "shimmy"
when driving at high speeds.

This is what the dealership found . . .

It's amazing how people twist things around.

Why's it gotta be a blond that did it?

Because some men are simply sexist jerks! Starts out as a man doing something stupid to be turned into a blonde woman to make him feel better about himself.

I thought I remembered you posting this before... sans blonde.

Then again... maybe the guy had blonde hair.... no where in the misquoted story above does it say it was a "she"
    Ludicrous gibs!

I've seen these pics before...how could your wrap a mattress around your driveshaft and not notice it? Wouldn't you have seen the mattress before you ran it over...and then noticed in your rear view mirror that it wasn't on the road anymore?

The guy noticed it after 30 miles and it got posted on 12-12. With the blonde it took 6 weeks longer.
