Yeah, I know. I couldn't resist. Who's gonna solve this murder?

I'm equally surprised that Sherlock Holmes was black. All those movies got it wrong!
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

Bob, I read your post and instantly thought of this...

I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore

I had both feeelings. It's a shame some *hole whacked him for what,
pocket change and a TV? But at the same time, Sherlock was murdered.
The way things are around the metro area, if you don't laugh at some
dark humor, It would drive you stir crazy. Or maybe it's too late for me?

Yes and no. In the abstract, there is humor in everything. Specifically, some "humorous" incidents brings pain and suffering to someone.

At least it was a crime that didn't involve a current or ex Dallas Cowboy.
At least I think it didn't?

Recently I was reminded of my own mortality with the death of my first girlfriend from high school. She was beautiful vivacious blonde the melted hearts with just a smile, not to mention she was smokin hot and everybody wanted to be with her. She chose little ol' me over football players and the like because I treated her with respect instead of a piece of meat. Breast cancer claimed her life at the age of just 39. She left behind three beautiful children. Toward the end her husband walked out on her and left her in the care of her sister...

We all colectively mourn the loss of a great athlete or actor. look at the emotional outpouring for John Lennon. I understand these types of people touched so many more lives. I would not go to the wake or funeral of a person I did not know, yet was there for Ronald Reagan, so I understand that.

To me all human life is indeed precious, a gift, and all is equal. When someone of stature passes it is no less a loss than the loss of a mother of three to disease, or a father beaten to death for his money.

    Just my 2c
