Is your Denon/Marantz/Pioneer/etc. really made by those companies?

We all know about OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers), but we often imagine these to be faceless entities. Therefore, it was to my surprise that I came across Sherwood's Chinese website (a direct link from US Sherwood's new website) stating that it's the OEM for brands such as Denon, Marantz, Pioneer, Onkyo, TEAC, Best Buy, Kenwood, Harman Kardon, and Epson. I have always know that Sherwood's Korean parent company to be one of the biggest audio/video OEMs in the world, however, I am surprised by the numbers of brands it manufactured.

Btw, the factory is located in Shenzhen, China, which is right over the "border" from Hong Kong. The city is also home to the Chinese audiophile brand, Shanling.
