Surroundbar 50 and an External AMP? POLK?

Hey guys, mabey I need a polk expert (or AV expert) to help me.

I just got the Surroundbar50. I love it. Very sweet. The music and nice and tight and the action scenes in the movies are awesome.

I have a chance to get a NAD2700 2 channel (150wpc) amp at a decent price. My Denon 2805 (100wpc) pushs the Surroundbar very well, but on some scenes it max's out (When I crank it for demos, No clipping at all, fantastic sound), but I was thinking that If I got a seperate amp, it would take some power load off the L and R channels. Plus, in Purdirect Mode it would really scream when it comes to music (Even in Pure Direct all three tweeters rock)..

Would this amp benefit me? I am not sure how everything is wired in the surroundbar and could use some help.

Thanks,

Joe
