    Got it, listened to it, initial impression - it sounded too polite, vocals recessed, just didn't grab my attention. So now I am listening to Alan Parsons Project I Robot - this is great - not even SACD.

    Wow. That is unexpected. I was really looking forward to your review and was considering a purchase. I may just need to find a good copy of the LP.

    I just picked up The Allan Parsons Project - "Tales of Mystery and Imagination". This is a 2007 CD release on Universal of their first album from 1975 AND the 1987 remix of that album. So far I've only listened to the original version. Excellent recording. I can highly recommend this one...but then again...I am an AP fan.
