I found a set of Carver silver 7t's that I may be able to get for about 650.00...... I am trying to get the owner to sell them separately from his martin logan requests. If someone will by the M/L's he will let me get them but wants to sell his audio set complete and I will know on monday if they are mine... would these be ok with my sda-1c's or overkill.

I'm pretty sure you can strap the neg terminals on those monos and they are very nice amps. Might want to ask on the Carver site if someone doesn't post here. Overkill, probably not, and $650 is a very good price.

    Combo rig:

Onkyo NR1007 pre-pro, Carver TFM 45(fronts), Carver TFM 35 (surrounds)
    SDA 1C, CS400i, SDA 2B
    PB13Ultra RO
    BW Silvers
    Oppo BDP-83SE

Be sure you can strap them or you need a AI-1 cable variety.

Also be aware only certain serial number 1C's can use the AI-1; if you have the compendium it tells you, if not, when I get home I'll look your serial #'s up if you provide them.

Not overkill by any means.......no such thing:D

Awesome Find. Where is the Martin Logan at and how much he wants for it? Does he has Original Box to ship or just for local sale only?

Silver 7t are a rare find so don't let it pass up on you.

I think the logans are not priced too bad either. But without the box, I think it's very risky to get these shipped. :(

If the boxes were to order from ML, I think they cost between 150-200 so plus shipping is not worth it. I found a pair of ML in Sacremento area for less. Well, good luck with your hunt on the 7Ts. If I were you, I would tempted him by offering more and get these coz I saw them usually go for more than 1000+ region for a good working pair.

You're not likely to get a TFM 55 for much less than $550-$600, but if you can, then it's plenty for the 1Cs too. I can't touch the headroom on the TFM 45 with my mine.

That's less than half of the cheapest price I've seen 7t's go for lately....
