But hey it was free :)
So I go to a job just setting up a receiver and the Polk rm75's. He is replacing an old Bose lifestyle 25 system that he said hadn't worked for years. When I got there the Bose was already stacked up in a corner. as I gather my stuff to leave he start asking me if it's worth trying to see if the Bose stuff is fixable I tell him not really sure being Bose you might just have to replace whatever doesn't work and the way there stuff is who knows what could be wrong. So he asks if I want it, he's just going to throw it away. So being the pack rat I am I figure sure why not I’ll tear it apart.
Get home start messing with it, find these problems:
1- No sound
2- 6 disc cartridge won't eject
3- Door will not stay open and is broke off one hinge

Big grin come across my face because now I’m going to dissect. Open up the bass module exposing circuitry dust it off tighten some loose connections got sound back. So off to the media unit pull it apart find the problem with the door and locate the problem of eject for cartridge (just a little gear that slipped forward)
All in all the system is back up and running and it was all free :p perfect little set up for some sound in the bedroom or garage

Kewl thing is i got the original manual too it shows how to hook up a laser disc :)
on with the Bose bash!!!

    That's what I was thinking...lol

Despite how bad Bose is...I'd still take it for free. Would make a half decent(kinda) bedroom system or whatever. Good deal.

ebay it and go to dinner on whatever you get for it.. if you only get a small amount. then it's lunch at your favorite burger joint. if it's a larger amount.. it's free steak and seafood for you. :p

sell it as "vintage Bose" ;)
