Dealers have been authorized to liquidate old stock on the internet for the new stuff that's SUPPOSED to come out, but no one has seen any of the new stuff even thought it's been advertised for over a year....ebay has been flooded with stuff over the past several months.

Before you buy I would check with Sunfire to verify onecall is an authorized reseller. Otherwise, Sunfire will not honor the warrenty. Even though onecall is not on the list that does not mean they are authorized.

How can that amp put out 200 X 7 when it only weighs in at 32 pounds? Or is that an error?

It would have to have a class D or hybrid configuration to get that kind of power out of so 'light' a unit, no?

just so that I can say it is $1,399 even when I put it on the cart, here is a word doc with the pricing. They even add the rack mounting kit for free...

bizarre, that's for sure. I tell you what, if anyone interested, send me your payment information (CC) and I'll buy it for you at that price.

Bob Carver is a genius, and I expect he has patents on his power supply designs. His amps only pull the power needed from the AC at any given moment, so they are light and run cool. I remember his little "Carver Cube" from the 70s. Everyone was astounded at how such a small box could make so much power.

I have the Sunfire TGA-5400 which is a 5 channel amp rated at 400W/ch at 8 ohms and 800W/ch at 4 ohms, and it is neither large or heavy, relatively speaking.
