Sub Problem

I recently purchased a Cerwin Vega CLS-12S subwoofer and I am encountering a problem with it. Basically, I have the sub connected via LFE input to my AVR and at random times it is turning off by itself. The first time this occured, I turned off the power to the sub, unplugged the power cable and plugged it back in. The status light was immediately green even though there was no signal going to the sub. After powering on my reciever the sub stayed on (green) for a few minutes and than the status light automatically turned red and I recieved no sound from the sub. Is there any thing I can do to fix this? Or is my only option to send the unit back for repair/replacement? Any help would be appreciated, Thanks.

Cancel that, it's still FUBAR, any help?

LFE, standard coax sub/digital audio cable.

Well, I thought it was the cable at first too so I tried a new one...no dice, and they were both monster cables. But I'll without a doubt give this a try. Thanks

Ok, I'll give that a shot.
