I have added the DSWpro 400 sub to my system.:D

I'm breaking it in right now listening to music. The big test will be this weekend when I crank it for a slew of movies, including Ironman!:D

Outstanding Cathy!!! Keep us up to date. Who brought it in for you? :D

Congrats on the purchase! I've always heard great things about the DSW subs...I've heard the 600, but never the 400. Can't wait to see your review.

    2 questions:

    1. What time do you want us over ?
    2. What are you having for dinner.

    ,.....we'll all probably be hungry.

Congratulations on your new toy !

And remember: if you play your music loud enough, you won't be able to hear the police knocking at the door. That's a legal defense.

Well I spent the weekend listening to music & movies & checking out the different options of the sub.

I still up in the air about the sub for music. It seems to swing from very subtle to very thumpy. I'm still looking for just the right setting for it for music. It's hard since I listen to such an ecletic mix of music.

    For movies...IT'S OUTSTANDING!!!!

For the first time my room vibrated during big booms!:D This was so apparent when I watched Ironman this afternoon. Between the thumps when he came out of the cave to the difference in the volume of noise the thrusters that Obidiah used on his suit vs the level that Tony used for his was just great.

It's fun to feel the vibrations in your chest during action sequences!:D

All in all, I'm very pleased with my purchase.:)

Cathy, with all but one of the Polk subs I have owned the volume was pretty close to 3 or 4 out of a possible 100 when listening to music. I kinda just used them to accent the sound. Hope this helps find your "happy spot".
