RTi4 vs RTiA1
How do the Polk RTi4 speakers compare to the RTiA1s. I understand the RTi4 is an older speaker but its specs seem to be identical to the RTiA1s. Crutchfield has a great buy on RTi4s and I was considering purchasing them instead of RTiA1s. Are they voiced similarly? I currently have a Polk SCi A4 center channel speaker.
I am planning to get two pairs of RTi4s (instead of RTAi1s) for the front and rear of a 7.1 setup and pair of FXi A4 for the surrounds. I was planning to get the Polk Audio DSW Micro Pro 1000 as the sub. I want to confirm that the speakers are voiced similarly before purchasing.
Thanks!

I had the same problem with a decision between RTi8's which looked like the RTiA5 except for the prettier enclosure with curved sides but had identical specs and the drivers looked the same.
I opted for the RTi8's as Fry's had them on sale at $149 each and I did not think the improved enclosure was worth 3 times the cost. FYI: I am very happy with my RTi8's -
i just bought a pair of the rti 4

they seem exactly the same to me except the rtia1 have a very little lower freq range... i wonder if the human ear can even pick the diff up?
