Hi Folks -
I have a pair of excellent LS70s for sale in Central MA - $575. Rosewood finish. I love these speakers, alas my listening area is too small for them, and so I'm looking to exchange them for some bookshelves (e.g. LSi9).

Would that price include free shipping? My 1999 Blue Book has a retail price of $420/pair, wholesale mint was $250/pair, wholesale average condition was $120/pair. Waiting for the 2003 book to arrive any day.

I think the LS 70's and LS90's will prove to be secondary to the SDA series. Maybe third considering the LSi9's. At $250 for a pair I would probably pick them up just because. I think they sound pretty nice. Doesn't $575 sound reasonable?

Selling audio is new to me - I'm not aware of "blue book" prices. If you're serious about purchasing, let's followup.

Right now I have more speakers than any one person should so I am not looking for a pair to purchase. My friend has the LS90's and they are really nice. I'm pretty sure he paid way more than you were offering them for which is why I brought up the question.

Yes, there is an audio blue book, published every year by Orion. In fact, it's called the Orion Audio Blue Book. They run a little over $200 new. Tough to get new. I use one, and find it to be an indispensible tool. No SERIOUS audio man/woman/Dr. He-She would be without one. The prices I quoted were from the '99 book.
Max,
Depends on how bad you want something.
