which 6.1 receiver to buy?

With guidance I've gotten from generous forum members,I've decided to go with a 6.1 reciever instead of separates. My speakers are Polks, CS-400i center, Rt-55 mains, RT-35 rears, a CS-245 rear center and a JBL sub.
My budget is "up to" $1,000.
My HT room is 14.5' L x 11.5' W x 8' H.
I know it's "personal", but I'm hoping that a few here have gone through this process already, have looked at most, any, all the brands, or at least the ones they've considered, and have come up with reasons why they made their decision or just what they bought.
If anyone has gone through this and can lend some of their experience, I'M ALL EARS , open to any and all suggestions, reasons why, why not, etc. and so on.
Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

I would suggest a Onkyo or Denon right at $1000 price range.
Check out Crutchfield.com First time buyer i can get you $20 off.
IMO that is the best your going to do for the $$$$$.;) -

Take a look at the Denon 3803. It is right in your price range. I have a 4802 and I am still amazed at the capabilities of this receiver. I really think that Denon and Polk make a good combination (especially with last year's RT lineup).
Check out all the receivers you can and chose the one with the best sound. Good luck. Rick -
Sorry--cutnpaste - (all may not apply) but this thing rules!
Greetings Mike!
Sorry,not selling anything but...
At that price point(stretch just a little) for 6.1/excellent build quality and sound etc. receiver-wise...
I would highly suggest researching and reading some reviews on
the Outlaw 1050 www.outlawaudio.com
perhaps a little dated at this point, and no DPLII (if that really matters to you) but IMHO - unbeatable in the "best bang for your buck" category, don't let the watts fool you either-plenty o power.
Good luck,have fun.
Brett - my system is very close to yours - mains RT800I-CS400I-RT25I and two PSW350 (I would have bought SVS,which I was saving for-but the 350's were on clearance - 149.00 each - had to buy two --they get use,'til I upgrade and give them to my son or another room)
The 1050 drives them all - flawlessy! Amps are next!
CHEERS ! jefffArt as expression-Not as market campaigns-Will still capture our imaginations. -

I dig the the Yamaha RXV2300. It's sounds good and has tons of great features like the RS232C port so you can download any new sound fields that come out.
