Supply and demand really does drive prices through the roof I guess.
This Samsung combo BD/HD DVD player retailed about a year ago for $700 now it's more than doubled in price to $1,899 :eek::eek::eek:

yeah, I saw that and can't understand what was the driver. I own one and paid $749 at CC a year ago. A bit slow but PQ is great, on all (SD, HD, and BD), worth to mention, SD PQ is really where it shines the most (IMO).I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.
