I have a set of SDA SRS 2.3's for sale.

I am the original owner and they are in excellent condition both cosmetically and acoustically.

I would help deliver within 2 hours of ZIP 62234.

I will post photos soon. My IT department is blocking something in our firewall. "I think they expect me to work or something"

I am asking $850.00

    Those Damn IT guys!

I saw your rebuild. It was impressive. My 2.3's are in a little better shape then what you started out with. :)

I have only moved them twice and each time in the back of a minivan with blankets.

Yes I am in Collinsville/Maryville IL. They were bought at Sound Central on Lindberg back in the day.

I will not ship them. I would cry if they got ruined by some knucklehead from a freight company. I would however deliver within 2 hours. I always recommend auditioning them first. I know how sweet they sound, but if someone is not use to the SDA effect they can take a little getting use to.

I think that this time since they are in very good shape I may remove the top two 6.5" drivers and the Passive Radiator and use those holes as handholds to carry them down the stairs and into the van.

Maybe these have not reached NJ?

    Thank You.

I'm dreading moving mine. I'm closing on my first house in a couple of days (the Damn Mortgage Company has my application for 6 weeks now, you won't believe the amount of crap they look through these days!) and I will have to Move them from my 2nd Floor Apartment into a van and to my new house.

I think that this time since they are in very good shape I may remove the top two 6.5" drivers and the Passive Radiator and use those holes as handholds to carry them down the stairs and into the van.

This idea may work very well. I'm always afraid of stretching out the fabric on the sides of the SRS speakers. So this way the hand that holds onto the speaker inside one of the driver holes will do most of the work and my other hand can just guide it and keep it stable.

I'm going to rent a separate truck/van for just moving my speakers and get help from my brother and cousins.

I cannot trust the Movers with my speakers.

    Sal

Instead of removing drivers I would suggest using a heavy moving blanket and a few competent men to help you move them. Lay them down in the blanket and carry them hammock style. That is how I moved mine and had no issues.

They are the perfect size, you can set them sideways, pick them up,lean the top on your shoulder, and carry them in. They only weigh 130 lbs I weigh 265.

A friend used the same method to carry SRS 2's into my house and it didn't damage them at all.

    I do not think so.

All the drivers are in very good shape and with the neoprene surrounds they should last a long time.
