refinishing my sda-1c's

here are some updated pictures of the cosmetic restoration of my 1c's
hope everybody apporves... but mostly my wife approves:D I have not picked up grill cloth yet and am thinking about black leather inserts to copmlete the side panels... any ideas on the leather concept?

    wow it's in pretty bad shape. If I had to do any work on mine, I would replace the side cloth with wood. it's going to add some weight but I would do cherry stain top and sides.

    Looks like you're doing wood side rails for them. I think that's a good idea. Sometimes I wish I had done that on mine (I suppose I still could).

    yes... i liked the look of the srs series and decided to go with an approximation of that with a cherry finish. I have one completed and will post a picture of them when they ars completed...
