Monitor 7's.

First pair of vintage Polks i ever owned. Ive had 2 pair of 7's (A and C), pair of minty M 10c's couple pair of SDA's and just got a great deal on some 7b's local. I couldnt resist. Let yet another re-build of a 2chnl rig begin. I should be snaggin them tomorrow.

Looks good to me! I've often thought about my first "real" audio set-up that helped me fall in love with good sound. Sometimes I wish I had all that back in a separate room just to remember why I started down this road... Something about that first set-up seemed "magical". (No, I'm not nuts)

I just picked up a pair of 7c's with the original stands all in great condition for 100 bucks last night. I found them on craigslist and never heard any of the vintage polks before so I did some research which led me to club polk and all I found was positive reviews with the only downside being a lack of bass. I really wanted a pair of Klipsch Heresy's buthey cost 500+ in good condition. After hearing the 7c's though I fell in love with both them and the price. The bass is good enough for me, they will compliment my rt1000i's perfectly which have built in subs along with an additional seperate psw250 subwoofer I have in my system. I originally found these on craiglist and wasnt sure what model they were until I went and looked at them. If they didnt have peerless or sl2500 tweeters in them I was going to upgrade, but I see no reason to. The original sl1000 tweeters sound nice and crisp. These are great speakers, and nothing brand new would even come close to comparing if you only paid 100 bucks.
