Adcom 6000 or Combination Adcom 545 and 2535?

It's been a while since I posted here but still a long time lurker.
I have Rti8's fronts, Csi A4 center, Fxi A4 surrounds, Hsu VTF-1 subwoofer and an Onkyo 705 receiver.
For fun I thought I'd like to play around with a power amp like an Adcom 535 and then because of the usual slippery slope thought I better just dive in since I'm probably going to get power amps for all channels once I hear the setup with a new amp. So I kinda thought instead of the 535 I'd get a 545 (or 5400) for the fronts and then get a 2535 for the center and surrounds. This could probably all be done for $300 or less. Then I saw that the Adcom 6000 can be bought for under $200. The 6000 has 100 watts for the front 3 speakers and 65 watts for the surrounds. I guess my question is would the 545/2535 combo have a better sound than the 6000? If anyone has any input I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!
