Sub - which one?

Hi everyone!

I'm considering whether to upgrade/enhance my system with the addition of a subwoofer. My system consists of a NAD L53 (has a sub out line) with a couple of RTiA7s. The unit is used exclusively for music and is housed in a fairly large room (26'x16' with 9' ceilings) on hardwood floors.
I'm on a budget (<$300) and would like to keep my purchase within the Polk family.

Also, what size sub would you recommend (8", 10", 12") for music? I can get a Polk PSW303 at my local Futureshop for $149 (Canadian).

Thanks everyone!:)

At over 3700cf you will not find a $300 that will keep you from wanting more bass. Might consider a 2 channel AMP(175wpc+) if your NAD had pre outs to drive you mains and get more bass from them or save up for a sub in $600 range.

www.canuckaudiomart.com - check what's available on the used market. For $300 you might be able to pick up a decent sub (better than Polk).
