Hello to all, I am obviously new to the polk scene here and I would like to start by asking an easy question for you experts out there! I have inherited two R30's and I have them hooked to my new Onkyo 606, the center and surrounds are old Yamaha HTIB leftovers, and the polks sound wonderful although i know they are older models. The yamahas can't keep up, so what polk center and surrounds would match the R30's? I am already looking at a PSW111 to help out as well. I've been looking at CS1, CSI25,CSR, and I think I'm on the right track but that's what you guys are here for.....Thanks!!!

Thanks fellas!! I guess one more quick question, can I throw some m30 or m40's for my rears because not only are they easier to find but it seems like all the M and R series kind of match? p.s. I'm feeling the polk love already!!

Looks like R15 are the recommended rears for system but you could use most anything IMHO

Go with the Monitor 30's for your rears; I used to run R30's for fronts and Monitor 30's for the rears and they work very, very well together.
Running different fronts now, but still have the Monitor 30's do their excellent job holding up the rear.

And, as always, get what you can afford, and ENJOY WHAT YOU GET

    :)

Man you guys are quick!!! I'll throw one more question at ya, I found a really good deal on a CS2, would that be too much for r30 fronts and m30 rears? Or should I stick with the CS1 ? Thanks again!!!

    Welcome Aboard, dborzz! Go Buckeyes.

I'm pretty new here too and live in a suburb NW of Akron.

Enjoy those Polks. Hang around here and you'll learn that "older model" only means better in many, many cases.

I would go with the CS2, I have one with my 70's and it works very well. Lots of people get the CS1 thn wish they had gotten the CS2. It will be a good match with the R30's.
