I know a lot of this is just personal preference, but out of these 3, which do you think is the best bang for the buck?

Audioquest Type 4
Blue Jeans Cable
Signal Cable

I would probably lean towards AQ Type 4 as well, but I have used some Signal cable for speakers and they are solid performers for the money as well.

If you're looking at AQ Type 4, I'd also take a listen to Kimber 4TC. Not that the Kimber is any better, it's just another option (flavor). I'd go with the Type 4 out of that group.

So i would need three 8' cables for my fronts.
I'm currently looking on Audio Advisor, and they have an 8' pair banana to banana for $109. They don't seem to have an 8' single banana to banana though, just banana to spade, and spade to spade for $54.50. These are the "no frills" cables, not sure what that is to be honest.

Is there another place i can find an 8' single banana to banana?
And are these decent prices, or can i get them cheaper on another website?

    Thanks for the help guys.

That's decnt prices for new. Check Ebay for in US shippers. No frills means no pretty jacket.

Ebay seems to have some 8' pairs at an $89 buy it now price. Come with the "pretty" jacket too..:p
Private sellers make me nervous on Ebay, but saving some money is always a good thing.

Check out the feedback. Check audiogon.com too. $89 is a good price for the pretty ones.

AQ Type 4 definitely...that's a bit higher end than either of the other choices. They're all nice cables though...just depends on your budget

Well the prices on Ebay seem good, so if i pick up a pair of the AQT4 on there, i'd just need to find a single 8' banana to banana for my CSi A6.

I pulled the trigger on one pair of AQ type 4's on ebay last night for 89 dollars. Its coming from Hong Kong, but the feedback is 100%. Im still alittle worried.. Probably will take a long time to get them. The seller said 8-12 business days.

Not to worry, I ordered from the same seller. Great cables without factory packaging. They are the factory terminated kind.

Very hard finding someone just selling one. You might have to buy both and send me the other.:)

Consider this for a single. I think the GBC was originally somewhere between the Type 4 and Type 8 retail price wise, but it's discontinued so the price is cheap. It would be interesting to hear how it compares to Type 4 if you get it.

Looks legit, and its around 88 shipped. 100% feedback also, I'd jump on it!

I emailed the seller about shipping, and was told it usually takes anywhere from 7-14 days, but might possibly take a week or more longer because he might not be able to send them out before the chinese new year. Ugh, i'll think i'll just hold off yet again and wait for a pair that's in the US. I can't wait for what could be more than two or three weeks, i'd rather be waiting for more to show up on ebay and still have the money in my pocket..:o

I'll just make sure to grab the next available pair that ships from the US, and keep searching in the meantime.

So i've spent a few hours this morning reading more about speaker cables on different websites since i'm about ready to pull the trigger. What's up with AVS forum? The majority of members there seem to bash any speaker cable that is not BJC, Monoprice, or Home Depot cable, and in turn calling everything else snake oil, including Audioquest Type 4.

Ughh lol...Still can't decide. The Audoquest Type 4 are a bit expensive for me to buy new, and there are not many listings on ebay for them except for a couple of international sellers.

The signal cable seems like it would be nice, though it will cost me about $250 for three 8' Ultra cables and three 3' Anaolog two IC's.

I guess Blue Jeans Cable would be the cheapest route to go as far as these three companies. How do BFC and Signal Cable compare?

I just saw that you bought the RTi A7's metal. Seriously, do those speakers justice and buy some MIT cables. You'll be doing yourself a favor to. ;)

One last question, how do those MIT EXp-1's compare to the three cables in the title of this thread? Just curious.
