    OK,

All that looks great, costs a fortune and few will ever be able to afford it. The Separates game is fleeing most of us.

As I said above, Pioneer is making ICE amps or at least putting them in their best receiver. OK, a $7000 SC-09TX (70.5 pounds--140 watts, 200 watts in 2 channel mode) dollar receiver is probably low end here? But perhaps a few of you can humor me as I can't even afford that.

What do people think about that Pioneer ICE power?

    Just curious.

I can't believe you guys don't support your own. I have a Bel Canto S300iu "D" class intergrated amp and i am wraped with it. They are getting more and more popular here in OZ with those sick of the main stream stuff. Everyone who comes over can't believe this little box can punch out such clean, detailed and punchy music. My Monitor 12's love it.

Wha? The links were for amps in the $2k-$3k range, I mentioned amps that go for $1k. How does that make a $7k rcvr low end? I personally spent $3300 for my icepower amps + pre, if I wasn't so into 2ch and spent so much on my main amps that number would have been about $2k.

IMO the Pioneer is WAY overpriced. If I recall correctly they are using the lower end 200asc modules. A W4S 7ch amp w/ the same modules is $3k...pair it with a nice $2k pre...there ya go.

Don't get this one at all. Who doesn't support your own? What is our own? What is it to be wraped? Where is OZ, and since when is Bel Canto not mainstream? Seriously I have no idea what you just said.

Mate you need to get out more, seriously! If you read my details in the left hand side of the page you should be able to work out that im in Australia.
Wraped means very happy.( aussie slang. sorry )
Bel Canto is certainly NOT mainstream in OZ.

Other than the wraped thing you made perfect sense to me.;)Agreed I wouldn't consider Bel Canto mainstream either.

    Ok,

That's my mistake. And I retract the statement. Should've checked your pricing first instead of assuming it. I agree, $7000, is too much for that Pioneer but here's the review in any case (you may have seen this already). But it's conceivable that we may have trickle down tech on this from Pioneer?
