How are the BoB DVD's? The description says "printed covers". Are the DVD's genuine?

Yes they are and he bought exactly what i described in the original post above. He also copied what I wrote in his response, saying he wanted to buy them. So I think it is pretty clear. He has really put me in a bad light here and completely undeservedly.

The DVDs look better than the cover and they play well. But I can't really judge whether it is original or not.
The printed copy are very easy to recognize and they looks like fake computer printed paper. Those fine prints are very blurry and not readable.
I'm not crying over $25 but I just do not want you guys fall into the same trap like me. That is all I wanted.

I probably should stay out of this... but I am only trying to help.

MKZ, does the DVD artwork appear to be a sticker? Can it be pealed off? It it can they it's a fake. Look for any holograms on the DVD. I don't know if the original has one or not. Look for end of track signs on the other side, i.e. when you burn a partial disc you can see a line where the laser stopped. You should not see this on a genuine.

If you got genuine DVD's then it appears the description in the original sale is valid.

The DVD's were bought at Blockbuster and the covers were downloaded from this site
http://www.cdcovers.cc/view/15068/front/band-of-brothers-disc-1 It was my first attempt at printing covers so they didnt come out as great as they could have. I'm a gold trader on the Home Theater Forum and at DVDTalk and have been for years. I dont sell, trade or buy bootlegs

There is no trap. My description was very accurate an forthcoming. At the heart of the matter you are unhappy with yourself for not asking more questions or for pictures of the set before the trade was finalized and its easier to drag someones good name thru the mud than take responsibility for your mistakes. I would have happily sent you pictures or answered any questions about the set but you didnt ask. I got upset a week ago because I received a Bluray disc (which I bought)with no cover art. I was ready to read the guy the riot act until I went back to his For sale listing and found that it said no cover art. My fault. Just because it doesnt have the original or for that matter any cover art, doesnt make it a bootleg.

my son works at blockbuster, from what he tells me, these DVD's are genuine, just the cases and sleeve artwork are not, blockbuster uses thier own branded cases for thier DVD's. Maybe they get a discount when they just order how ever many movies they want. Hope this clears things up a bit.
