I was actually debating between the Hsu VTF-3 MK III and the outlaw since they were on sale.

What one of the 2 would you think for home theatre?
Klipsch The Nines, Audioquest Thunderbird Interconnect, Innuos Zen MK3 W4S recovery, Revolution Audio Labs USB & Ethernet, Border Patrol SE-I, Audioquest Niagara 5000 & Thunder, Cullen Crossover II PC's.

Thats quite an experience with subs. How would you rank them based on musical tone and your personal preference on sound quality?
Vancman, I would be glad to discuss this a different way. The last thing I want to do is start a flame war. Questions such as yours can easily excite such a war. How do I know-lets just say by EXPERIENCE. Contact me via a PM and we can go from there. Have a blessed day.

    Cheers,

    Phil

Given the current price of the Pluses, (2) of them will offer more output than a single 3.3. It would be a no brainer imho. Hope that helps.

Yeah, I see that. I may just have to wait on selling them then, because I paid much more for mine and can prove it.

    Cheers,

With this economy, that sale price might just become the regular price. In 2006 the original LFM-1 sold at $579, the Plus sold for $679.

In June 2007, they dropped the original LFM-1, introduced the LFM-1 EX for $649, and reduced the price on the Plus to $549.

It's now 18 months later, in a terrible economy, and the EX and Plus are on sale for $519 and $439, shipped. But you never know, the Plus could go back up.

    Good luck with your sale.

No Erik, it looks like they are both sold. If that changes, you will be the first to know. I do have, however, a complete Ascend Acoustics 5.0 set-up for sale. This includes the 340 SE's in the front and the 170 SE's in the rear. If interested, let me know. Have a blessed evening.

    Cheers,
