I've made a final decision!!!

So, i've made my final decision.
After carefully going over my finances, i've decided the better bet for me right now is to get the RTi A7's. As much as i want the A9's, the extra $400 and having to get an amp would really be a stretch for me at this current time. Plus i completely forgot that i had to register my truck and my fiancee's car next month, and they are new vehicles so that's not cheap! But with the A7's i can squeeze in an amp so that's a plus. And in all honesty the A5's just do not interest me so i really wasn't considering those.

But hey, i sold my RTi 10's for more then i paid for them (i got $500 for them which is the cost of the A7's on Polk Audio Direct) and all i really wanted was to have everything in my setup be from the RTi A line (looks do matter to me).

I actually ordered the last pair of A7's a little while ago, i'm not quite sure when to expect them, but hopefully soon! I'm also going to be buying the Emotiva XPA-3, so from what i've heard it should be a whole new experience compared to when i had just the 10's with no amp and just my Pio Elite 92.

So i didn't quite "GO BIG OR GO HOME", i'm still wandering around lol.:p
I know some of you might say that i should of went with the A9's, and i wanted too (one day i'll get them), but it just would of made things more difficult for me financially then i wanted to deal with right now. Regardless though i'm still looking forward to the A7's and the XPA-3, i can't wait. :D

Thanks for all the suggestions, opinions, and help guys, i really appreciate it and i love this site!!!:)

My setup will be as follows:

RTi A7's
RTi A3's
CSi A6
Pioneer Elite 92
Emotiva XPA-3

You'll still be able to " crank that mother". Make sure you post your thoughts old VS new series.

Man they just put some rti a9's on Polk direct.

Shipping should take about a week to the east coast. It took five days to Wisconsin every time.

    Enjoy

Holy ****! Now there really are some A9's up there!!!

    still j/k :p

As long as you're happy with what you buy, that's the important thing. I'm sure you'll still be more than happy with the A7's. Those are some great speakers too. You should run them off your receiver first just to see how they compare to the 10's as a baseline. They'll blow em away no matter what with that amp. Enjoy your system, and make sure to give us your thoughts on it.

    Haha...lol..:p

I'll definetly be running them with my receiver first, just so i can compare them by memory to the 10's i had, then i'll let loose the amp!

I'll be sure to let you guys know how it all turns out, and what my opinions on the A7's are.

One last thing i need to decide upon is some better speaker cable, the stuff i have now is junk. I'd like to get some decent cable for the front stage, but for my rears i'll have to go a little cheaper since they are 50' runs (because of how i had to run them). And then i'll need something to connect the amp to the receiver, but honestly i'm not sure what to get or where to get it.

I wired mine up with AudioQuest Type 4. I purchased at Audio Advisor, at $4 per ft, Just enough for my fronts. Got some good tech advice on hookup on the Forum here. Didnt shop for better price, i think thats about the going rate. Members here speak highly of it, Great sound difference.

I've been reading about the Audio Quest type 4 cables on here and i think those are the one's i'm gonna go with. All though i don't think i could afford to run those to my rears as well, so i'd have to find something decent for them.

But i have no clue on what cable i could/should get to hook up the amp and receiver.

I noticed that on ebay there is a few listings for 8' pairs of Audio Quest Type 4 cables. Of course i'd still need one more though. I'm thinking about grabbing one of the pairs, all though i've only used ebay twice, once from ebay motors, and then another from obviously polk audio direct. I get a little worried buying from a private seller on there, but one of the pairs is at $56 right now. And there is a couple buy it now pairs for $89.

Hey, metal... I replied to you on AVS, and then came here. Sorry, but I said go with the A9's... knowing how quickly you wanted to replace your 10's. Also, the XPA-3 is nice.:)

    Hey man, how ya been?

Yeah i really wanted the A9's more, but after sitting down and going over my finances, i just can't really swing it right now unfortunately. But seeing as how i sold my 10's for $500, and i'm paying $500 for the A7's (not including shipping though), i'm still happy. At least now i'll finally have all RTi A's, and with the XPA-3 i'm hoping i'll feel even better about everything. Only time will tell..:p

Audioquest Type4 would be a great wire for your fronts. You might want to look into some Canare 4S11 for your surround runs. It's a good wire that won't break the bank. Bluejeans Cable has it for 1.05 a foot.
