Well I built one of these for a friend. The case is cast. The cables are Silver Plated with a small adapter so you can Bypass the A1(I call it the Silver Bullet) and still use the A1 IC wires.

Thanks Ben, the unit is has exceded my expectations. Listening to music in Stereo and watching BluRay has become a new experience of enjoyment. I have had several friends over to hear my system and they have been amazed by the difference from before to now.

Very cool:) I have heard that from others. The sad thing is now I want one! I do like how the single connector worked out, and the cast case:) I think I need to clean my camera lens:(
    Thanks Bill.

How much to build one for me?

Me thinks it allows non common ground amps to be used with SDA's.

It's my crappy camera. There are no white spots either:(
Speakon connectors are a fool proof way to easy way to disconnect the cable. You can do it in the dark and never get the polarity wrong:)

Georgia humidity;) I have actually seen this one,, or one that Ben made, and the build quality is very, very good.Although he won't admit it,, I suspect that they tried it out on my SDA's before I picked them up.;):)

Thanks GV. My old Nikon took excellent pics. It died. I bought a newer better model, but any closeup shoot and it really kills the pics. I wish I could afford another camera. I need to take some cable pics. The cables look much better in person than the pics do too:(

    Well I contacted him, and
Didn't notice any rust. The unit is on a lower shelf in the rack so I won't
be going down on my hands and knees to see.

    Bill

BTW the screws are black oxide. I want to keep them black, but if they are prone to discolor, or rust I may make a change.

You definitely do NOT want to drop this on your feet! You'd be walkin' funny for some time. Excellent build quality to boot. I checked this bad boy out while down at Ben's. Knowing me, I'll be getting one eventually for my 1C's.

They certainly are heavy. I chose the cast case for it's strength in case of an accidental drop, and for even more RF rejection.

it allows one to either use it as the normal interconnect (between the speaks) and/or allows you to use non common ground amplification by a simple switch of the "black box),, such as monobloc's. DK has a thread also,, use the search function,, AI-1 or dreadnought.

    Yes Master:D
I terminated the wires with fast ons. Then I soldered the fastons to the Speakon connector:) Nothing is coming loose in there:)
