In wake of realizing what's most important in my life, I am having to sell a few parts of my system. It's a long shot that I'll be able to sell these, but I know there's a few MIT fans here;).

I'm the second owner. The first owner had Cardas spades installed on both the amp and speaker end that are fixed. So unfortunately no ICONNS with this set. However, the spades are very high quality and will fit just about anything. 8 feet long. Network boxes in good overall shape with a few scratch marks (but who actually cares about some scratches on speaker cables). Will ship in original box.

$700 shipped

or

will trade for some Shotgun S3 speaker cables plus $150

I have heard both the S1 and S3 cables and, yes, it is worth the $150 if you're ready to upgrade. Unfortunately, I'm at a point in my life where I can't be that picky. I'm just lucky my other half hasn't discovered how expensive speaker cables can be:D

Do you have any pictures of the termination?

Some pics for ya Face. The flash makes any tiny scratch look really noticeable and in reality, they are hardly there and not noticeable from 2 feet away.

Yea, Ricardo, I can understand how that may be a problem. I wonder how much it would cost to send these to MIT and have the ICONNS but back on? Maybe I should look into that and maybe we can work something out.

Folks, these are great cables. I have the S1's (speaker and 2 pair of IC's) in my 2CH. Well worth the investment. Good luck with the sale GEBBY44.

this may not be the place but can someone explain in common terms why certain speaker wires are better than others?
I can hear the minute differences in speakers, their placement and listening environment can make so I am nof tone deaf or anything, just have never heard a difference between any wire in a system. I run 10g monster cables in my system at about 150.00 for all seven channels, about a buck a foot. I do hear the difference between this wire and ths old 18g lamp cord type, but thats about it. Am I missing something?

    thanks for educating me

I would have jumped on this if they were biwired. But I like my LSi 15's biwired - currently using the Shotgun S2. Good luck.

NOT COOL jacking someone's FS thread especally since you haven't been here long enough or posted enough to place your own FS thread.
It would be wise to edit/delete your statement now.

I'm not sure if that was his intention.

Regardless, someone please buy these...I'm in need for another pair of cables...
