RTS Speakers

I am looking at purchasing the RTS-105 front speakers; unfortunately, since my center will be in a piece of furniture (not a wall) the RTS-C is not a good choice for me for my center. Would the LSI-C be a good choice? Also, for my surrounds, my ceiling is actually vaulted (so slightly on an angle to the side of the viewing position) and the side walls are not optimal for installation of the RTS-FX - I was thinking that since my ceiling is vaulted the RTS-FX is a better option than the RTS-100 in ceiling version (which basically just looks like it aims the speakers on an angle anyhow, which my ceiling is already doing).

I also plan to "phase-in" the last two channels to go from 5.1 to 7.1 (due to the cost of the RTS system). My thinking is that I should add the side channels first, then later when I phase-in the last two, those should be the speakers directly behind the listening position.

Thoughts? Suggestions?

Thanks.

Welcome and I think the LSiC would be a fine choice for the center. They are the same drivers in both speakers, so they should match very well. As far as the rears, both of them would sound great, but it looks the the FX might provide a little better dispersed sound; you can't go wrong with either.

Thanks Zingo. What are the thoughts about the Lsi9 instead of the rts-105 for the fronts, are there any opinions on whether that is a step up or down? I could potentially place those in the same piece of furniture in lieu of the rts in walls. Obviously there is a price difference, but that doesn't always mean a better performing speaker. I should point out that the room is quite large (4,000 SF) so I am not sure if the Lsi9 is better or worse than the RTS for large spaces.
