Hello
Does anybody here get annoyed with those damn channel logos on the screen?
Heres a feedback e-mail I sent the sci-fi channel tonight....
Hello
I just recently upgraded to DirecTV High Def and was very excitied to see the HD broadcast of Pitch Black tonight......Until I started watching it. The problem was this huge blob of text covering up the lower quarter of my screen.
BATTLESTAR GALACTICA
Tomorrow at 10/9C
SCI FI HD
Very very annoying when your trying too watch a good movie like that, I finally just quit watching it because of it. Why do you guys have that so big and plastered all over the screen like that?? I think it was rather obvious by all the other advertising that BG was going to be on tomorrow anyway.
And why don't you do something like StarzHD does with their logo.....They have it very small and way down in the corner and they don't have it on there all the time.

The only thing more annoying than the logos, are the animations that pop up on many channels advertising what's on next. I don't expect it to go away anytime soon though, it will probably only get worse.

In the biz they call them "bugs."If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

..and it "BUGS" the **** out of me. I already know what channel I'm watching and have the onscreen guide at the touch of a button. I find the screen hogging graphics and animation a pain in the arse!
We must rise and revolt against this travesty!!!
...whoa! almost went on a rant...it still sucks... -
Didn't FOX start this trend??? I can hardly watch a game on FOX because of all the "BUGS" they litter the screen with.Things work out best for those who make the best of the way things work out.-John Wooden

I've always kinda wondered if it's possible for those to cause burn in on your screen. Obviously it wouldn't on LCD's...probably not plasmas either. I could see it possibly happening on a CRT set though. Wonder if it's possible...probably not.
Those things bug the hell out of me too...Like others have said though. They aren't going anywhere...they'll probably just get worse.:rolleyes:The nirvana inducer-
