I haven't heard either one but you might want to consider the ED A5 350. It's in the same price range ($650) and it's rated higher in Craigsublist than the other two. I've been looking at subs in that price range quite a bit lately.

I'd get the most expensive SVS you can afford.

The PB12NSD of PC12 are roughly equivalent to the Hsu for output and sound quality. Craig's ratings are for older revs of each model. The latest PB12 that Craig evaluated would have scored in the 95-96 range, but SVS didn't want him to continue since he had formed his own company (it was never added to the list). Hsu's 3.3 w-w/o Turbo have been improved as well, so give it the benefit of the doubt and get the one that's size or finish appeals better.

    Combo rig:

Onkyo NR1007 pre-pro, Carver TFM 45(fronts), Carver TFM 35 (surrounds)
    SDA 1C, CS400i, SDA 2B
    PB13Ultra RO
    BW Silvers
    Oppo BDP-83SE

I had a HSU 3 3 T in my 4200Cf with 1800cf opening that was excellent for music but in my room I was bottoming out for movies, room was just too big. It is a great sub. I now have the SVS PB13U which handles everything I can through at it but thats not your question.

I think you would be happy with either one and above all they have excellent customer service.
