I know there are a few of you around and I need a little help. The wife and I are headed out there the last week of January and will be there for the whole week. We already have a place to stay, but we need an idea of some things to do, places to eat, etc. We thought about getting the City Pass since it gets you in to most of the big attractions in Atlanta. I have seen most of it, but my wife hasn't and it has been over 10 years since I was there last.
FYI - we are staying in Big Canoe, about an hour or so north of town(my parents have a timeshare deal). So anything in Chattanooga or surrounding areas would be good as well. We don't drink or party(she's pregnant anyway) and enjoy spending time outdoors if possible.
Thanks!

I know just enough to be dangerous, but don't tell my wife, she thinks I'm a genius.

That's almost 2 hrs from most of us. I am in Conyers. Keep us posted.
BenPlease. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
Thanks

Mind you this is just a little vacation, we aren't moving or anything. I knew most of ya'll were on the opposite end of town(so to speak) from where we are staying, but I thought you might have some ideas on things to do in the city. My mom is from Atlanta, but we went to Cordele a lot because one of her grandparents had a huge watermelon farm down there.
Again thanks for the help!I know just enough to be dangerous, but don't tell my wife, she thinks I'm a genius.

I'm actually not much help in the what to do in the ATL. I just moved here less than a year ago. The Aquarium is under construction so only one big tank is a worthy attraction.Please. If I were in Big Canoe, I'd just stay up there and enjoy the quiet time and mountain views.
You are really about 2 hours from Atlanta downtown or Chattanooga Downtown. That a pretty good hike, especially with a pregnant wife (Went through that twice in the last 3 years)For rig details, see my profile. Nothing here anymore...
