Pro-ject 6.9 sub platter and spindle

I'm looking for a Pro-ject 6.9 turntable sub platter and spindle assembly. When I originally bought my turntable last year the bone head that shipped it shipped it with the platter on the table and durring shipping extensive damage was done. Broken cover, gouged plinth, bent arm and bent spindle. I got all my money back (including shipping) and the guy told me just to keep the table. I've since fixed everything except I still have a slight wobble in the spindle/ sub-platter. The better my equipment gets the more I can actually hear the sound degradation this causes. I've tried to get a new one from my local Pro-ject dealers but I guess I don't spend enough in their stores for them to give a crap and they have not helped me. I've contacted the Canadian and American distributers and they just point me to my local dealers. The part is out there, I just can't get anyone to order it for me and I can't order it myself. So, now I ask my Polk friends for help. This part was common to several Pro-ject tables. Does anyone have one on a damaged table for parts or can you point me in the direction of where to order this part. Thanks.

After seven months of searching I finally today got my new sub platter/spindle part. I put it on the table and like magic it now runs true!!! No wobble and much less noise from the wobbly platter transmitted to the arm. $39.99. I got it from a local dealer through Planet of Sound in Canada. By the way, any Canadian Polkies seeking vinyl and less cross border shipping deals check out this website. Tons of new and used vinyl and high end audio stuff. Plus outstanding customer service.
