Enjoy the Photos, this is by using only the Drivers, Port hole, Grill from Polk R300, the enclosure Was made by my Brother at Home. The port is covered with a Grill Cloth due to roaches issue.
I am adding the Pre finish photos also.
Internal Bracings were exactly matched with Polk R300 Original unit.

They looks pretty nice. Why did you decide to build your own pair?

this was a gift to my brother in India, from US, could not carry the full built units thanks to Customs/duty in India and the beastly expense of putting them in air. So i stripped the entire stuff from the cabinet, am left with just plain enclosure now, will dispose it for any one for minimum $ in PAF(Polk Audio Forum) or CL, hes thrilled to hear from them, I tested both R50 and R300 IMO R300 sounded better.:D, My brother gave a beautiful review of these i requested him to write in the Customer column in R300 page.

Nice job. Someday maybe I'll finish a project:eek:
Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks
    Ben

jc kanth thats my brother's review. He says he has not a problem with Bass at all. think most of the questions with regards to R300 are covered in these reviews.

Thanks a lot, couple of DIYs i have in mind once i go back home, mush lesser price in raw materials and carpentry for wood work in India, i picked up a pair of DB804dvc, planning to buy a Bash sub amp 300 watts and make a nice sub for home using twin subs and port hole or sealed i will experiment and which ever is good will modify accordingly, Will remain always a Polk fan, Again just to give a head up on why i need to build it, i was planning a DSW Micro Pro 1000 or 3000, The price is exactly twice than in the US, it just p----s me off with the Govt Regulations and customs Duty charges, If i get a good deal on 3000 will pick up one and use the db804 for car.

That looks like a really well done job. I would love to have the same thing done with my R50's as the stock cabinets are not particularly impressive with their "mactac" finish.

Easier to simply change the finish than to build a new cabinet. You could sand down the existing cabinets with a belt sander then apply wood veneer.

You should have your brother build you an enclosure for these:
