Hello all,
I'm a transplant from the (hopefully temporarily) defunct CarverAudio forum. Many of the members there are members here, so I know some of you guys already.
If anyone is interested in upgrading their Carver gear, or just wants to join the forum, my site is at:

Yeah, I was going to say something but with the influx of Carver forum people I didn't. The FM is really for pieces of gear not advertising. Although I suspect if I had a use for your service I'd consider it a worthwhile post (I don't do Carver). I'm not a mod so really my opinion means nothing.

All could be forgiven with some "club Polk" special pricing!:D"The legitimate powers of government extend to such acts only as are injurious to others. REGARDS SNOWWell, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all -
No more so than a couple of other people selling cables here. Rich is doing this out of his home. I will send him a PM and explain this probally isnt the best place to list his services and to contact a moderator regarding this so there is no bad blood.

I'm not a business, I'm just a guy, and I love to be able to do this, which according to my wife means I HAVE to make some profit for my time away from the family (it's sort of a retirement project).
So, for the 18 hrs it takes to modify a unit, I'm getting $100 ($5.55/hr) which is pretty low already. The 'whole unit' prices on my site are based on my having spent, on average, $300 for 'mk II fodder' (ebay amps). The price of a whole unit is kind of high, but if a person wants an upgrade of an existing unit, I charge cost of parts ($200 for M-1.0t, $250 for M-500t) plus $100.
If you find a 'for repair' unit on ebay, etc. you can get have it mk II modified and the end cost would be approx. $460 for an M-1.0t or $500 for an M-500t. That's a fantastic dealThe web's most visited Carver audio forum: http://thecarversite.com

Cut him some slack man. RichP is a respectable gent who I can guarantee doesn't want to ruffle any feathers.~ In search of accurate reproduction of music. Real sound is my reference and while perfection may not be attainable? If I chase it, I might just catch excellence. ~ -
Nothing commercial whatsoever. Just a guy who takes broke dick amps, fixes them while beefing them up and then sells them with a very small profit. Excellent product and service IMNSHO.

Hi guys, I got Snow's PM and sent a PM to a moderator about this topic. If they feel it's not appropriate I'll remove it (or ask them to).

I can totally respect that, not sure this has ever come up before on the FM. I wouldn't sweat it as it's a pretty minor thing. The few that have sold their "homemade" wares were established members with a track record and they sort of became the exception. Again, no bad blood.............just don;t want to set a precedent for many to come here and start advertising services in the FM.
