I tried the model above those, the RS120 ($75 at Amazon). To me, there was way too much hiss, and it would increase when you got more than 20 feet or so from the transmitter. I sent them back.

I have an old model (TR-120) and it works great; probably not the best sound quality out there, but there's no hiss when used anywhere in the house; I used to wear them when mwing, and it worked great while in the backyard. Front yard didn't work sounded decent until I was 10 feet away from the house.

    I noticed that too...lol

I've been looking at headphones lately. I don't know if I really want to get a wireless pair though...I'd probably mainly just be sitting in my listening room with them. Wireless would be nice...but is there a considerable amount of bandwidth loss going wireless?

I used to use a pair of Bluetooth stereo headphones. The Logitech Freepulse. they are small and lightweight with built-in rechargeable batteries. Mainly for Audiobooks when I was working in the yard (not with power tools or the riding mower-simply too loud) or working on building my kids clubhouse. Most of the time I kept the iPod on my belt, but the lack of a wire was an enormous freedom. While they were spec'd for about 33' range. I really coudln't get more than 15-20 feet away before it started breaking up. But I think they came out with a new bluetooth spec that allows for about 300m of freedom or something like that.

Just mentioned in case you wanted to look into the newer bluetooth stereo technology that might be out there as opposed to Infrared or RF tech. Not sure how it compares SQ wise or other.
