Subwoofer without LFE Connector - HELP

Hi:
My CerwinVega Sub does not has the single LFE Connector, but it has 2 Inputs RCA (Left/Right), and 2 Outputs (Left/Right).
I connect only a Digital Coax RCA Sub Cable to the Left Input of my sub to my PreAmp Out of the Receiver. But if I use an "Y" Cable (2 male, 1 female) connector so I can fill the (L/R) input of the subwoofer amp to the preout of my receiver, do it will sound better or its the same thing?!

Yes, you can connect to either the left or right input of the subwoofer or you can use the Y connecter to both inputs If you'd like. It makes no difference either way...

Yup, then turn the crossover/low pass knob as high as it will go.-Eric
