Hi:

Im just wondering if it safe to my receiver to plug a "Y" RCA Adapter to the Sub-PreOut of my receiver and hook two Subwoofers.

My Onkyo 706 has 2 Sub connectors, but one is PreOut, the other one I dont know what its used for because when I plug my Sub in that plug it does not work. Only works in the PreAmp Out.

Thanks

The sub connection in the DVD section of the receiver is for analog input, not output.

A "Y" connector is the best option.
