I have a passive radiator (drone cone) that I need to replace on an old sub-woofer. I'm having trouble finding one that is cheap (as the original part was cheap). The opening is 6 7/8" but including the part of the surround that is glued to the frame, it is 8". I do not know how these things are typically measured. Does anyone have any advice on replacing this part? It seems like it should be cheap and easy, but I just can't find the part.

Parts Express has a few and under $20 for the dayton 8", and it lists detailed dimentions. Madisound has some to if you wanna spend more:rolleyes: I haven't personally used any of them, but alot of people seem to think the daytons are a good bang for the buck, and they are "tunable". I hope that helps:D

Thanks for the tip. Since the entire 5.1 system cost $65 it probably isn't worth $20 to buy a replacement. It's for a computer. I should probably just buy a decent 2.1 system.
