SDA 2 tune up

I used the windex technique on the mid/woofer cones and they are clean and extremely tacky.I saw the wiring diagram posted for the SDA 2 but,I can't read all the values. I know the speakers are 24 years old and was wondering if I need to replace any/all of the electronic components. The right IC jack seems to have a short in it, if I pull the cable upwards and leave it there the right array stays on. The binding posts all seem degraded and could use replacing. Right now I'm running 400 watts into them and everything sounds good however, I would not know ,I did not own them in 85'. I will post pics soon. Thanks, Rich

Pictures should help with identifying them which 2's they are which is a good start. Pulling the drivers and seeing the part # on the backs of them will definitely point us in the correct direction.
Is the IC blade/blade or pin/blade? Look to Sonic Craft, soniccraft.com for nice binding posts. The post should be easy to replace. While looking at doing the bp's you should think about or do the x-overs too.
Do some forum searches here and you'll learn alot about x-over rebuilds. The folks here will be real helpful but need to work off good information.
Hope this helps get you going, Drew
