Thanx Guys!! Re: RTi A1
Thanx for all of you who chimed in about my inquiring on these RTi A1's.
You were right VERY NICE speakers....very tight and clean sound just like you said.
Reviews all over the web were ALL 98% pos user FB on these as well.
Wish I woulda had the room for floor standers but unfortunately I had no options on this.
(The LSi series speakers woulda been my real choice!)
My hats off to Polk for the rear power port/wall mount.
I hated the speakers with the slot cut in the back wood!
Not too crazy about relying on that wood to hold a 12 lb speaker!
Guess I'll hafta watch in the future for a CSi A4 (Black) to match these.
My RT15i's seem to match these pretty nicely for surround.
My CS150 center is a bit out dated and not truly timber matched to these.
Anyway thanx again Guys your(how do the kids say it?) Da bomb!!
Gotta love this place!!!

Is the wife still pissed?
She hasn't heard em yet.....She is still at work!
She isn't much of a audiophile......give Her a MP3 player or a Boom Box and She is happy.
Oh if life was only so simple for us Guys! LMAO
Listening to Holst The Planets SACD right now in the standard audio player. WHOA!
Dunno personally not overly impressed with the SACD player.
The Hybrid SACD's sound awsome on a standard player but I don't think Multi-channel is gonna do it for me.
Don't be surprised if I recoup my $100 for my Sony SACD player.

Sorry I missed your previous thread asking about these; I got RTi A1's back in October and they really are great!
I have a CSi A4 center speaker as well.
Bought them all from Polk's eBay store. -

I actually prefer the 2 channel version of SACDs. SOme of the multi channel sounds good but not better, IMHO.
I think the A1s are close to the RTi28s that use to be my mains for 8 years and have been moved back as my rears. They do a very nice job but whatever you do, do not listen to any SDAs, you will be bitten for lifeSpeakers: SDA-1C (most all the goodies)
