...for non-common ground amplifiers?

I found the plans for building my own AI-1 (IIRC) cable off of these forums, but I'm wondering if someone already builds these somewhere that I could buy?

I have a pair of SDA 2B's (pin/blade) running through (or trying to) separate McIntosh MC2100 amps.

I'm hesitant to try and do it myself, so I'm just exploring other options...

    I tied the neg terminals of my adcom monos together to make a common ground but Im not sure if you can do that with thos amps or not.There is threads on this site with instructions on how to build an A-1 cable.DarqueKnight may be willing to help you out.He built his own that is far better than any others out there.Not sure of the cost though.The thread for that IC he built is in this section under A-1 Dreadnought.Preliminary results...

    So considering it cost you $300 for one from eBay, it would probably be vastly cheaper to build my own, jah?

    I did try and ground the amps together first, but after finding the original MC2100 literature, I don't think that's the way to go. Aside from the fact there was a lot of humming in my left channel, it is recommended by McIntosh. This sounds like the recommended, safer alternative.
